- Burmese Mission Project
- Church adopted a Burmese family who came to Raleigh from a Thai refugee camp and assisted their settlement in Raleigh.
- Burmese Worship Service in Karen language is held each Sunday in the RRHC Chapel
- One of the cornerstones of our life together at Ridge Road is our commitment to serving our community and our world in Jesus' name and for his sake:
- Throughout the year, we participate in ongoing missions projects such as the year-round food drive for the Wake County Urban Ministries Center and the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship "Adopt-A-People" partnership program (Ridge Road adopted a people group in Southeast Asia).
- We also take up special offerings through the year for needs overseas and at home. Through our church budget, over $27,000 is also designated to go directly to local and national needs.
- We involve our children and youth through projects like Operation Christmas Child, where children fill a shoe box with Christmas presents that are delivered to war-torn areas of the world.
- There are groups for adult men and women, the Woman's Missionary Union and the RRBC Men's Fellowship, that educate and provide opportunities for hands-on service all year long.
How might you get involved? If you are interested in more information about W.M.U. or children's mission opportunities, contact Bea Gillespie through the church office. If you are interested in knowing more about the RRBC Men's Fellowship, contact coordinator Chris Austin.
